Design Status

After a year of driving and refining the first prototype of the X-Cycle has revealed strategies for improvements in design and performance that are being incorporated into the R2 version of the X-Cycle now being road tested.

 

The R2 version of the X-Cycle
is now being built with the following upgrades:

1) Lithium batteries

2) Lighter frame

3) improved suspension

4) Seating for the driver plus two passengers

5) improved aerodynamics

The R2 design has the following features:

- 100 to 200 mile range

- Seats 3

- 500 lbs. lighter than the R1
